Otto Thorowarth

Otto’s story of a 5 foot tall, 110 lb son of a football coach is an inspirational one.

As a sophomore in high school, he learned about horse racing and its three requirements: you had to be small, know how to ride a horse and be at least a little crazy. He worked his way through the ranks to being a jockey for over 12 years with over 1,500 victories and several riding titles.

At a threshold in his life, Otto decided to walk away from racing to spend more time with his family. As he worked several odd jobs, through a friend, he was called to minister at the race tracks.
